Session Infomation

Infrared spectrum has attracted wide interest from both academia and industries due to the important applications in sensing, information technology, aerospace and bio-medical engineering. The recent development on new physics, new materials, new nanofabrication method and meta-design principles have demonstrated great potential to manipulate the radiation, propagation and exchange of infrared signals, and bring the possibility to solve the scientific problem behind the critical engineering bottlenecks. This session aims at communicating the research progresses on the design, fabrication, and application of infrared devices and technologies. Potential topics include but are not limited to: infrared metasurfaces, infrared metamaterials, nanofabrication technologies, infrared sensing, optical waveguide, infrared imaging and spectra reconstruction.
