PIERS —— A global symposium committed to
advancing photonics and electromagnetics for the benefit of humanity.
All presenting authors must pay non-refundable pre-registration fee and is limited to present no more than three papers in oral and poster sessions. Only pre-registered and paid submissions before 20 August, 2021 will be scheduled in the symposium program. Inclusion of the submissions in the final Technical Program (abstracts only), and PIERS Proceedings (full-length papers only) is guaranteed only after the pre-registration of the presenting author is completed. Your pre-registration will be valid only provided the payment is received timely.
The pre-registration deadline is 20 August, 2021. On-site registration opportunity is for non-presenting authors only. Registration fee for your articles is non-refundable.
For late new submitted abstract, please do register before 30 January. Only pre-registered and paid submissions before 30 January, 2022 will be scheduled in the symposium program.
For this hybrid PIERS, different presentation time has been allocated for onsite talk (15 mins) and online talk (10 mins). The registration fees are different for onsite and online participants. Authors are strongly advised to pay attentation to this change before abstract submission and registration.

For onsite participants, Registration Fee include admission to all technical sessions, coffee break areas, and PDF program in a U-disk. It does not include any other meals or lodging costs. For online web participants, Registration Fee include access to all online technical sessions, online program.
No-Show Policy: To avoid NO SHOW onsite, we highly appreciate that you can inform us in advance if you are not able to give onsite/online presentation due to any unpredictable problem before the program is finalized. Author is encouraged to find a colleague who can onsite or online present the paper for you if you cannot make it to the conference. Please pay attention that if one paper is no-show in oral or poster session, its full-length paper will not be included in the final PIERS proceedings. Kindly be aware that there is NO mail service of conference materials for no-show PIERS participants. The final PIERS Proceedings will be submitted for archival in IEEE Xplore.
A formal PIERS Receipt will be sent to you by email immediately after your payment is confirmed.
PIERS 2021 Hangzhou registration fee can be paid in USD or RMB. Registration fee can be paid via wire transfer or online payment platform [ Alipay (RMB) / Paypal (USD) ]. To pay via Paypal, you don't need to have a Paypal account. To pay with bank card, please click the button [Pay with Credit or Debit Card] or [Pay as a Guest] at the end of Paypal interface.
1- Please log into PIERS author center and click "Registration" in the left menu.
Click the "Register Now" to fill out the online registration form. Please make sure all your presented papers should be the same category (Onsite or Web) as your registration type.
2- If the online payment process fails due to any reasons, you can click the left menu - "Registration" and refresh the page, and then you will find a [Pay Now] linkage in your registration record. Then you can continue your online payment via Alipay or Paypal.
3- Once your have finished the online payment process or made the wiring transaction, please wait a few days for us to confirm your payment. During registration peak, it takes more days to identify all the wirings.
4- In this registration page, you can easily check your registration status and download the invoice, receipt or chinese invoice (中国发票) once these documents are available.
5- If you find your registration has not been confirmed more than one week after your payment is finished, please do contact us with a bank sheet, in order for us to identify your wiring transaction.
6- If you have not finished your payment in due time by the pre-registration deadline, August 20, you may be required to pay the regular fee. Your registration will be valid only provided the payment is received timely.
