Session Infomation

Recent advances in strong-light matter interactions in a wide range of semiconductor gain materials have garnered considerable attention due to their implications and applications in photonic, optoelectronic and polaritonic devices. The session focuses on the exciton-polariton optical properties and polaritonic devices in the semiconductor materials system, especially the recent progress of exciton-polariton and polaritonic devices working at room temperature range in various cavities systems, including two-dimensional (2D) planar microcavities, 1D quantum wire microcavities, and 0D microcavities, based on conventional semiconductors, halide perovskites and transitional metal dichalcogenides materials.
