Session Infomation

Integrated photonics with wavelengths beyond two micrometers has great potential to revolutionize tremendous applications in optical communications, spectroscopy, molecular sensing, and imaging. Consequently, it has been attracting significant attention in the past few decades. In recent years, new techniques in long-wavelength integrated photonics have been continuously appearing with the fast development of emerging areas in new optoelectronic materials, artificial-intelligence-assisted photonic device design, quantum science, and internet-of-things technology. In this session, we invite prominent scientists to review their cutting-edge work and share their original studies about long-wavelength integrated photonic devices and applications.
