The session welcomes research articles that are related to efficient numerical methods for modeling electromagnetic fields in complex structures/materials/media, including metamaterials, frequency selective surfaces, honeycomb materials, layered medium, anisotropic medium, etc, and their potential applications in radiation, scattering, EMC/EMI, parameter extraction, geophysics, and remote sensing, etc. All types of numerical methods are very welcome: the finite-difference time-domain method, the finite element method, the method of moments and fast algorithms and so on.
