Session Infomation

The light propagation, transformations and manipulations are research hotspots in the field of optics and photonics. This section focuses on the cutting edge of science and technology on the research fields about light transmission, transformations, manipulations and their relevant applications. Example topics include the propagation characteristics of light in atmosphere, seawater, plasma and other complex media, the transformation optics based on metamaterials for designing novel optical and electromagnetic devices, the physical mechanism and state-of-the-art techniques of light field manipulations and their wide applications. All of the theoretical modeling, numerical simulation and experimental works are welcome.
