Session Infomation

Marine environments are under increasing stress caused both by climate change and anthropocentric activities. Therefore, monitoring of environments of those vulnerable ecology regions is essential to pursue our Sustainable Development Goals. The presented talks in this session will aim at exploiting microwave satellite measurements to observe coastal and marine areas. Its topics include, but are not limited to ocean dynamic environment, coastal and intertidal zone monitoring, oceanic disasters, marine target detection, sea ice.
