Session Infomation

Photonic crystals and subwavelength structures can control light wave on subwavelength scale, which shows unique physical characteristics and wide applications. This session will focus on the advanced theoretical and experimental progresses on photonic crystals and subwavelength structures. For theoretical works, progresses on advanced design ideas and methods, new physical phenomena or effects in 1D/2D/3D photonic crystal cavities, waveguides or subwavelength structures are particularly interested. The session will also include the recent experimental breakthroughs and new applications in linear，nonlinear or active photonic crystal devices. The application areas could cover a rather wide range, from communications to sensing, etc. Any researchers in this field are welcome to submit paper to this session.
